Day 1: Medellín to Jardín
The Ride: A perfect warm-up through the southwest mountains of Antioquia.
The Stop: Jardín, a town frozen in time. Brightly painted balconies and the famous “Cueva del Esplendor” waterfall.
Day 2: Jardín to Salento
The Ride: Tackle the rugged “Cuchilla” mountain ridge—one of the most scenic and challenging high-mountain passes.
Day 3: Salento (REST DAY)
The Experience: Give the bikes a break. Take a traditional Jeep Willys into the Cocora Valley to hike among the world’s tallest wax palms.
Day 4: Salento to Manizales
The Ride: Sweep through the lush hills of the Coffee Triangle.
The Stop: Manizales, the city of open doors, perched on a steep mountain ridge.
Day 5: Manizales to Murillo
The Ride: The “Letras” pass. You’ll climb to 4,000m at the base of the Nevado del Ruiz Volcano.
The Stop: Murillo, a quiet village in the clouds surrounded by thermal springs and volcanic tundra.
Day 6: Murillo to Bogotá
The Ride: A massive descent from the cold peaks to the tropical Magdalena Valley, followed by a steep climb into the capital.
Day 7: Bogotá (REST DAY)
The Experience: Explore the historic La Candelaria district or visit the world-famous Gold Museum. A perfect day for bike maintenance.
Stone-paved streets, desert landscapes, and the world’s best twisties.
Day 8: Bogotá to Villa de Leyva
The Stop: En route, visit the Salt Cathedral of Zipaquirá, an underground wonder carved into a salt mine.
Day 9: Villa de Leyva (Rest/Explore)
The Experience: Explore the massive cobblestone plaza (one of the largest in the Americas) and the nearby desert fossil museums.
Day 10: Villa de Leyva to Barichara
The Stop: Barichara, often called the most beautiful town in Colombia. Think white-washed walls and orange-tiled roofs.
Day 11: Barichara to Bucaramanga
The Ride: Chicamocha Canyon. One of the greatest motorcycling roads on earth, featuring over 1,000 curves as you cross the canyon floor.
Day 12: Bucaramanga (REST DAY)
The Experience: The adventure capital. Opt for paragliding over the canyon or visit the “Santísimo” viewpoint for a bird’s-eye view of the city.
Day 13: Bucaramanga to Playa de Belén
The Stop: Los Estoraques Unique Natural Area. Ride through a “stone forest” of ancient rock spires and erosion-carved towers.
Day 14: Playa de Belén to Santa Marta
The Ride: Leave the mountains for the coast. Transition from Andean cool to the tropical Caribbean heat.
Sea breezes, ancient history, and white sand beaches.
Day 15: Santa Marta & Minca
The Ride: A steep climb into the Sierra Nevada mountains to the jungle outpost of Minca.
Day 16: Santa Marta (Beach Day)
The Experience: Relax at the bays of Tayrona National Park or enjoy fresh seafood on the sand.
Day 17: Santa Marta to Cartagena
The Ride: The coastal highway through Barranquilla, crossing the massive Magdalena River bridge.
Day 18: Cartagena (REST DAY)
The Experience: The “Walled City.” Walk the Spanish fortifications and enjoy world-class dining in the Getsemaní neighborhood.
Day 19: Cartagena to Coveñas
The Ride: Relaxed coastal cruising along the Gulf of Morrosquillo.
Day 20: Coveñas (REST DAY)
The Experience: A pure beach day. Optional boat trips to the San Bernardo Islands.
Banana plantations, jungle ridges, and the final Andean ascent.
Day 21: Coveñas to Apartadó
The Ride: Enter the Urabá region. The scenery shifts to massive banana plantations and lush tropical jungles.
Day 22: Apartadó to Santa Fe de Antioquia
The Ride: The “Nutibara” climb. A legendary ascent back into the Andes with dramatic elevation changes.
Day 23: Santa Fe de Antioquia (REST DAY)
The Experience: Relax by the pool in this colonial gem. Visit the Puente de Occidente, a historic suspension bridge over the Cauca River.
Day 24: Santa Fe (Local Loop)
The Experience: An optional “ride-to-the-clouds” loop for those who want one last technical challenge.
Day 25: Santa Fe to Medellín
