Road Conditions: Roads in Antioquia can be winding and sometimes have varying conditions. Be prepared for a mix of paved and potentially unpaved sections, especially on smaller roads leading to viewpoints. The elevation changes mean you’ll experience a wide range of temperatures and potentially weather conditions; higher elevations can be cooler and foggier.
Safety: Always wear appropriate riding gear, ride defensively, and be aware of your surroundings, especially on winding mountain roads with significant elevation changes.
Fuel: Plan your fuel stops accordingly, as gas stations may be less frequent in rural areas, particularly as you traverse different elevation zones.
Glamping Cero Tusa: While it’s a glamping site, you’ll likely only be stopping for a brief visit and photo opportunity unless you plan to stay overnight.
Mirador Las Olas: This is typically a roadside viewpoint.
Mirador Jericó Cristo: The ascent to the Cristo can involve some walking depending on where you park your bike. Be prepared for potentially cooler temperatures at this higher elevation.
Enjoy your motorcycle adventure to Jericó!
